Soccer Moments Frozen in Time

As of June 1st 2026, Kim McDonald is retiring as Glen Rose Soccer Association President. This position will be open at the June 1st meeting. Anyone interested in this position or being on the Glen Rose Soccer Board, we highly recommend you attend the May 4th meeting to get your name on ballet and to start getting an understanding of the positions that are up for election and open. 

Next General Meeting for Glen Rose Soccer is May 4th 5:30pm Glen Rose Soccer Park. At the June General Meeting of even years GRSA elects President, 2nd Vice-President, and Secretary. GRSA also has a CoRegister Position open.  

• President - The President of the Association will preside at all Association meetings. The President, as chief officer, is charged with the overall administrative and executive functions of the Association. He/she shall appoint such committees as he/she deems necessary to carry out such functions with the Board of Directors approval. He/she shall cast the deciding vote in the event of a tie at Board of Directors meetings. He/she shall oversee an annual audit of the financial records of the Association. He/She shall have the power to enter contracts on behalf of the Association with board approval.
• Second Vice-President - The Second Vice-President will be responsible for the registration of Players, Coaches, and General Members of GRSA. The Second Vice-President will be responsible for the formation and direction of the Appeals and Discipline / Coaches Ethics Committee. The Second Vice-President will handle all misconduct of coaches, players, parents and spectators. All misconduct against a referee shall be forwarded to North Texas Soccer Association. In the absence of the President, he/she shall assume the duties of the President.
• Secretary - The Secretary will record the minutes of all meetings, attend to all correspondence, and keep records of the GRSA. He/she shall also keep a complete list of each team, team member, GRSA member and referee. He/She will be responsible for the formation and direction of committees as assigned by the Board of Directors.
• CoRegistrar - The CoRegistrar will compile, maintain, and submit all roster and information required to NTSSA. He/she shall provide the coaches of the respective teams, their NTSSA roster. He/she shall keep a complete list of each team and team members, as well as maintaining that all players have birth certificates and photos on file. He/she shall make sure that all coaches and volunteers have completed Risk Management and satisfy those requirements.
